Preferences: Unicode Display
Prerequisites for use: None; this dialog box can be opened at any time.
Use: The Unicode Display area of the Preferences dialog box is used to choose specific Unicode fonts for exporting Unicode original language Text (overriding the font selected in the Export area of the Preferences dialog box), and for choosing the font used to display Unicode original language content in upgraded User Notes files.
Description:This dialog box provides five pop-up menus for choosing the font and style for displayed Unicode original language text in upgraded User Notes files. In addition, it provides an option for having the selected font and style used when exporting that original language Text.
Options in the Unicode Display area of the Preferences Dialog Box
Original Language Fonts area:
- Greek, Hebrew, Syriac, Arabic, Coptic/Uncial: Click the left pop-up menu to choose the desired Unicode font on your computer. Click the right pop-up menu to choose the font style to be applied. Available options are Regular, Bold, Italic, and Bold Italic. These changes will affect how Unicode original language content is displayed in upgraded User Notes.
- Use these fonts for Unicode export to convert a file to another format for use in another application.: When selected, this item overrides your font selection in the Export area of the Preferences dialog box, when exporting original language Text in Unicode. If not selected, the font chosen in the Export area is used.
