Working with User Notes

The User Notes feature lets you add notes on any verse in a Text moduleClosed Any Bible text, or other single tool that can be read in Accordance, including reference texts and articles; may also be referred to as content or resource or location in a Tool module.

For ease of access, all User Notes for Texts and Tools are stored in a single User Notes file.

Note to Experienced Users

You can convert all old User Notes files from the *.acc4 format to the new format via the User Files area of the Preferences dialog box.

User Notes fully support Unicode content for easy entry of Greek, Hebrew and other languages.

The User Notes file can also be opened, searched, and accessed from the Library, AmplifyClosed To select words or a reference and search for the selection in the text or tool of your choice. You can select the resource in the Library or Amplify menus. A triple-click is a shortcut which amplifies to the top tool of the relevant category. menu, or toolbar, like any other Accordance module.

Once notes have been added to a User Notes file, small page symbols indicate that a note has been attached to the verse or content, as follows:
