Recycling Tabs

Most tabs can be reused by entering a new search argument in the Search Entry box. This is termed recycling a tab. You can also recycle tabs opened by amplifying; in this case amplifying from a new selection updates a current tab instead of opening a new one.

A recycle icon, by default dimmed (), is located on the top right of the Search tabClosed The core tab used to search Bible texts, it consists of a search entry area and a search results area, and many other tabs. If a tab can be recycled, the icon is no longer dimmed (Recycle icon: When blue, the tab is recyclable).

Most tabs opened when you amplifyClosed To select words or a reference and search for the selection in the text or tool of your choice. You can select the resource in the Library or Amplify menus. A triple-click is a shortcut which amplifies to the top tool of the relevant category. are recyclable tabs.
