Work with Greek Tagged Text
Examples of Greek tagged texts are the Greek New Testament (GNT-T) and Septuagint (LXX1 & 2). Other available tagged Greek texts include the Apostolic Fathers (AF-T) and Pseudepigrapha (PSEUD-T).
Before working with Greek tagged text, familiarize yourself with use of the Search tab and the Construct tabs.
Working with Greek tagged text helps you look for specific words and grammar in the original language. In the example below, a search was performed for the Greek word ανθρωπος (man) in the dative case.
- The Instant Details displays the details of the word under the cursor in a tagged text.
- The English gloss Short definition of a word is displayed only if the "Greek words" Accordance file has been added to Accordance. This file is usually added automatically.
