Preferences: Timeline Layers

Note This item is available only if the Timeline package is installed.

Prerequisites for use: None; this dialog box can be opened at any time.             

Use: Used to set the default display of layers whenever a new Timeline tab is opened.

Open: Click Timeline Layers in the list of the Preferences dialog box. The Timeline Layers area is displayed (labeled "Settings for new Timeline tabs").

Options in the Timeline Layers Area of the Preferences Dialog Box

Region Layer Pop-up Menu: Choose which Region Layer is displayed when a new Timeline tab is opened.

Item Layer Pop-up Menu: Choose which Item Layer is displayed when a new Timeline tab is opened.

Dates Pop-up Menu: Choose the default date scheme. Available options are: Conservative and Critical.
