Manage Combined Texts Dialog Box

Prerequisites for use: A Search tabClosed The core tab used to search Bible texts, it consists of a search entry area and a search results area is open and the Add Parallel button is displayed.  

Use: The Manage Combined Texts dialog box is used to select the combination of texts that you would like to have appear with the Combined Texts item on the Show pop-up menu, and to define the default Combined Texts when this item is selected on the Pane bar. You can also rename the Combined Texts sets from this dialog box.

Description: This dialog box can only be accessed via the Add Parallel button on a Pane bar, and selecting Combined Texts>Manage Combined Texts.

  1. On the Pane bar, click Add Parallel. A pop-up menu appears.
  2. On the Add Parallel pop-up menu choose Combined Texts>Manage Combined Texts. The Manage Combined Texts dialog box appears.

  1. Open the Manage Combined Texts dialog box.
  2. Select the desired Combined Texts item in the left list.
  3. Rearrange the order of items by using the Up and Down buttons.
  4. Select a name and click Delete to remove it from the list.
  5. Click and type (or overwrite the text) in the Name of Set box to modify the name of the item.
  6. Click OK to save your changes. The item at the top of the list is the default Interlinear display when Interlinear is selected on the Pane bar.

List of Combined Texts (Top Left): Displays all defined Combined Texts. The top item is the default predefined Interlinear display.

List Buttons: Used to arrange the Combined Texts in the list and on the Add Parallel pop-up menu (Combined Texts item).

  • Delete: Removes the selected item from the list and from the Add Parallel pop-up menu (Combined Texts item).
  • Up and Down Buttons: Click to move the selected item up or down the list.

Name of Set box:  Used to enter or modify the name of the selected Combined Texts. Adding spaces before the name indents it on the pop-up menu.
