Adding Items to a Stack

Note:

You do not need to open a Stack tab in order to add items to it.

You can add text, images, and user-generated content to the Stack tab in a variety of ways, as detailed below.

Keyboard Shortcut

  1. Select text or open an image.
  2. Press Ctrl+Alt+K. The item is added to the current Stack.

From the Toolbar

  1. Select text or open an image.
  2. On the toolbar, click Add to Stack (Stacks button). The item is added to the current Stack.

From the Menu Bar

This option is good to use if you have created more than one stack and want to save items to different stacks.

  1. Select text or open an image.
  2. Click Selection>Add Selection to Stack. The Selection menu displays a list of saved Stacks.

    You can also open the current Stack or create a new Stack.

  3. Choose the desired Stack. The item is added to the Stack.

From the Shortcut Menu

  1. Select text.
  2. Right-click the selection and choose Add Selection to Stack "Current Stack" from the shortcut menuClosed Also known as a contextual menu, acessed by right-clicking (or pressing Ctrl+Click, Mac only) over a screen element that appears.
