Set Parsing Display Dialog Box for Keyed Bible Texts
Prerequisites for use: A Parsing tab is the active
The application, window, tab, or other screen element which is currently being used; sometimes called the "front" or "frontmost" screen element tab. Key numbered text is being parsed.
Use: The Set Parsing Display dialog box is used to control the content and display of the active Parsing tab.
Description: This dialog box is dynamic; different options are available depending on whether text with Key numbers or grammatically tagged text is parsed. This topic covers use of the Set Parsing Display dialog box for text with Key numbers.
Changes affect only the active tab. If you want your changes applied to all future Parsing tabs for Key number texts, click Use As Default.

Open the Set Parsing Display Dialog BoxOpen the Set Parsing Display Dialog Box
- Select several words in a text with Key numbers.
- On the toolbar, click Parsing (
). A Parsing tab opens. - Do one of the following to open the Set Parsing Display dialog box for Keyed numbers:
- From the Display menu, choose Set Parsing Display.
- Right-click anywhere on the Parsing display and choose Set Parsing Display from the shortcut menu Also known as a contextual menu, acessed by right-clicking (or pressing Ctrl+Click, Mac only) over a screen element that appears.

Options in the Set Parsing Display Dialog Box (Key Number Text)Options in the Set Parsing Display Dialog Box (Key Number Text)
Font size Pop-up Menu: Choose the font size used for text in the Parsing tab. The default setting is Small. You can choose from seven different sizes ranging from Very Small to Very Large.
Include Pop-up Menu: Used to choose which words in the selected text should be parsed in the Parsing tab. The default setting is All Words. Available options are:
- All Words: Each word in the selection is parsed.
- Hit Words Only: Only hit words The verses, words, text, or other information found as the result of a search within your selection are parsed (the highlighted words in the text pane).
- Key Numbers Only: Only those words associated with one or more Key numbers are parsed.
Show Area: These options define what information is displayed in the Parsing tab. By default, all these options are selected.
- Key number: If not selected, the key number is not displayed.
- English transliteration: If not selected, the transliteration of the original language of the word is not displayed.
- Dictionary form: If not selected, the original language for the word is not displayed.
