Dialog Boxes

Note Unlike other folders in this Help, there are no introductory topics to each type of dialog box. Each subfolder with topics about the Accordance dialog boxes is set up to help you quickly find information about a specific dialog box.

The instructions below apply throughout the Accordance Help, unless otherwise specified.

The dialog boxes are explained in this Help based on their function. For example, click the book titled "Set XX Display" to find information on any dialog box that begins with the word "Set" and ends with the word "Display." Or open the book "Atlas" to look for information about dialog boxes unique to the Atlas.

Dialog boxes provide a variety of options from which you can choose. They can be opened in a variety of ways:

• Via the Accordance menus
• Via the pop-up menus
• Via shortcut menus
• Via keyboard shortcuts

Dialog boxes can be closed by choosing one of the following options:

• OK: Click OK to save your changes and close the dialog box.
• Cancel: Click Cancel to close the dialog box without saving your changes.
• Use As Default: If this option is available, your changes become the default for the specific text, panel, tab, or other item that was being defined.

A message appears asking if you are sure you want to save the current settings as the default for this text. Click Save to save the new default or Cancel to leave the current default unchanged.
