Analysis

Choose Analysis in an Analytics zone to open a tab which lists and counts the hit wordsClosed The verses, words, text, or other information found as the result of a search. You can select a word or a Key number in an Analysis tab, and amplifyClosed To select words or a reference and search for the selection in the text or tool of your choice. You can select the resource in the Library or Amplify menus. A triple-click is a shortcut which amplifies to the top tool of the relevant category. directly to a specific Bible Text or Tool, the Atlas or the Timeline via the Library.

The Analysis tab is particularly powerful when working with Key numbers and grammatically tagged text. You can view all Key numbers associated with a specific word, or display the hits sorted in a defined grammatical hierarchy. The "Smart AmplifyClosed To select words or a reference and search for the selection in the text or tool of your choice. You can select the resource in the Library or Amplify menus. A triple-click is a shortcut which amplifies to the top tool of the relevant category." feature lets you choose a specific Key number or grammatical tag listed in the Analysis tab, and locate the specific instance of that word in the search hits.

This example shows the Analysis tab for the same search in three different texts. Note the difference between the results for a text with no Key numbers or grammatical tags, a Key number text, and the results sorted to show specific grammatical tags in the original language.

You can also display an Analysis tab for the results of a Construct Search. In this case, the Analysis tab indicates the construct used and the text direction of the hits (if both directions was selected). An example is shown at the bottom of this page.
