Example: Amplify to a Map
If the Bible Atlas is installed, you can amplify To select words or a reference and search for the selection in the text or tool of your choice. You can select the resource in the Library or Amplify menus. A triple-click is a shortcut which amplifies to the top tool of the relevant category. from Bible text to a place name on a map.
- Highlight a place name in the text to select it. For this example, highlight "Bethel" in Genesis 12:8 of the KJVS.
- In the Library, pass the cursor over the desired background in the Atlas area (). The Amplify To select words or a reference and search for the selection in the text or tool of your choice. You can select the resource in the Library or Amplify menus. A triple-click is a shortcut which amplifies to the top tool of the relevant category. () button appears to the far right of the module Any Bible text, or other single tool that can be read in Accordance, including reference texts and articles; may also be referred to as content or resource name.
- Click Amplify (). An Atlas tab opens with Bethel highlighted and centered on the map.
