The Highlight Popover
The Highlight popover is used to perform the following tasks:
- Apply a highlight or highlight symbol to selected text.
- Select a highlight file to use.
- Create a new highlight file.
- Define and edit highlight styles.
The Highlight popover displays each defined highlight style in the selected highlight file, along with the name assigned it. It also displays all available highlight symbols.
- Open the Highlight popover: On the Toolbar, click Highlights (
) or press - Apply a highlight or symbol: Select text in a tab, open the Highlight popover, and click the desired highlight style or symbol.
- Apply a highlight or symbols to all "Hit" words in a tab: Press Shift and click the highlight style or symbol on the Highlight popover.
- Remove highlights: Select the highlighted text and click Clear on the Highlight popover.
- Highlights Floating window: Click the Detach button (
) to keep the Highlights open as a floating window. - Change the Highlight File: Select the desired highlight file from the drop-down list, located to the left of the Action menu (
). - Hide the Symbols area: Click the Action menu () and choose Hide Highlight Symbols.
