Save Groups of Workspaces
You can preserve an entire search or your current working set-up by saving all open independent workspaces, termed a session The arrangement of screen elements when working with Accordance. When a session is reopened the workspaces open and are displayed in the same sizes and locations in which they were saved. In addition, searches defined in the Search Entry area of each open tab are automatically performed.
- Arrange all open workspaces in the desired layout (including tabs, panes, and zones).
- On the File menu, choose Save Session. The Save: Save window as dialog box appears.
- In the Save: Save window as dialog box, proceed as follows:
- Enter a name for the session.
- Navigate to the location where you want the session saved. In OS
Operating System X the default location is your user folder named Documents/Accordance Files.
- Click Save. All open workspaces, zones, tabs, and panes are saved.

Hint You can save a specific arrangement of workspaces for use at the start of each session via the Preferences dialog box (General area). If you first delete any search arguments the workspaces are reopened empty, and ready for a new search. There is also an option to reopen the workspaces that were in use when you last quit Accordance. |
