Views

A "View" relates to any display that takes up the full screen, regardless of the device ( iPad®, iPhone®, or iPod touch®). There are two types of views:

  • Reading views are used to read specific content modules.
  • Main View is used to read Text and Tool modules.
  • Devotional View is used to read devotionals.
  • Notes View is used to read and edit User Notes.
  • Functional views are used to perform specific tasks.
  • Search View is used to search for specific verses or word combinations in a Text or Tool.
  • Library View is used to locate and open a specific module, and to access other options that affect application content.
  • Settings View (accessed via Library View) is used to set your display defaults and other Accordance options.

Note: There may be minor differences between display of views on the iPod touch and iPhone vs the iPad. However, the same options and functions are available on all three devices.
