Handoff to Other Devices

Accordance can be used with Apple's Handoff feature, allowing your iOS devices to automatically pass what you’re doing from one device to another.

Prerequisites for Use:

• Each device must be on the same wireless network.
• Each device must be logged into the same Apple ID (iCloud account).
• Each iOS device must be equipped with Bluetooth LE (iPhone 5 or later, iPad 4 or later, any iPad mini, iPod touch 5).
• The modules being used for Handoff must be installed on both devices.

The procedures for using Handoff is detailed below.

1. On both devices (iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch), go to Settings > General > Handoff, and turn on Handoff. Handoff is activated on both devices.
2. On the first device, open the Accordance for iOS app. Accordance for iOS opens to display a Text or Tool module, or both.
3. On the second device, open the multitasking screen by double-clicking the Home button. The multitasking screen displays all running applications.
4. On the second device, tap the Accordance app banner at the bottom of the screen. Accordance for iOS opens, displaying the same search results and content as the first device.
