Slide Over is a new multitasking feature that allows you to quickly access a secondary app as an overlay, while keeping the primary app visible but not active.

Slide Over is supported on the following devices:

• iPad mini 4
• iPad Air
• iPad Air 2
• iPad Pro

Using Accordance with Slide Over

These instructions explain how to open a different app in the Slide Over sidebar, with Accordance as the primary app. You can also open Accordance in the Slide Over bar as the secondary app, when using another app.

1. Open Accordance.
2. Place your finger on the middle of the right side of the screen and swipe left. The Slide Over sidebar slides into view As in Main View, Library View, etc.; relates to any display that takes up the full screen, regardless the device..

3. A list of available apps is displayed in the sidebar.

   If a previously-selected app is already displayed in the sidebar, swipe from the top of the sidebar to view As in Main View, Library View, etc.; relates to any display that takes up the full screen, regardless the device. a list of compatible apps.

4. From the displayed list, tap the app that you want to open. Accordance is dimmed and the new app in the Slide Over sidebar is now active.

   Note: Accordance and the secondary app cannot be used at the same time. Accordance cannot be accessed until the Slide Over bar has been dismissed.

5. To dismiss the Slide Over bar, place your finger on the sidebar and swipe to the right, or tap anywhere in the Accordance window.

Split View displays two side-by-side apps, allowing you to view As in Main View, Library View, etc.; relates to any display that takes up the full screen, regardless the device., re-size, and interact with both of them.

Using Accordance in Split View

1. Open Accordance.

3. From the displayed list, tap the app that you want to open. The new app opens in the sidebar.

4. Place your finger on the vertical line in the middle of the sidebar and drag the line to the left. The second app is now open and active in the display, along with Accordance.

   You can adjust the relative display size for each app by tapping again on the vertical divider line and dragging it to the left or right.
