Bookmarking

You can add a bookmark to any verse in a TextClosed When capitalized, refers to a primary source in the Accordance Library moduleClosed Any Bible text, or other single tool that can be read in Accordance, including reference texts and articles; may also be referred to as content or resource or any location in a ToolClosed When capitalized, refers to a secondary source in the Accordance Library moduleClosed Any Bible text, or other single tool that can be read in Accordance, including reference texts and articles; may also be referred to as content or resource. Bookmarks are stored in the Library and can be recalled at any time. In addition, if enabled via the device Settings, the bookmarks can be automatically synced between each device you own.

My Bookmarks category in the Library; click Edit to rearrange or delete a bookmark

  1. Tap and hold (long tap) on the verse number you want to bookmark. The Action menu appears.
  2. On the Action menu, tap Bookmark. The bookmark for the verse is added to the Bookmarks category in the Library.

  1. Tap and hold (long tap) on the content you want to bookmark. The Action menu appears.
  2. On the Action menu, tap Bookmark. The bookmark for the content is added to the Bookmarks category in the Library.

  1. Tap and hold (long tap) on the verse number with the bookmark you want to clear. The Action menu appears.
  2. On the Action menu, tap Clear Bookmark. The bookmark symbol is no longer displayed, and the bookmark is removed from the Bookmarks category in the Library.

  1. Tap and hold (long tap) the bookmarked word you want to clear. The Action menu appears.
  2. On the Action menu, tap Clear Bookmark. The bookmark symbol is no longer displayed, and the bookmark is removed from the Bookmarks category in the Library.

All bookmarks are stored in the Bookmarks category of the Library. Bookmarks can be deleted just like modules.

  1. In the Library, tap the Bookmarks Category. A list of all bookmarks is displayed.
  2. Tap and hold (long tap) the name of the bookmark to be deleted. The Delete Bookmark dialog is displayed.
  3. Tap one of the following options:
  4. To delete a bookmark, tap Yes, Delete. The bookmark is deleted.
  5. To cancel the action, tap No. Accordance returns to Bookmark View.
