- Supports all languages, unicode, and references.
- Added a new General Theme, Grayscale.
- Changed pane text line spacing to be applied evenly, to top and bottom, rather than only extending the bottom. - Tweaked the cursor to perfectly line up on pane divider dragging with the actual drag area.
- Improved the dragging of a horizontal pane divider from the top side, when it is over the text view.
- Improved the UI when opening a syntax or WordMap file from the Finder/Explorer. If the file isn't installed it attempts to add it. It also will move/copy the file to the correct location, and open a search tab with that database open.
- Applied new logic when opening saved tabs (not workspaces or sessions): Now the tab is added to an existing open workspace, similar to the logic used with a Cmd/Ctrl-N or Amplify.
- The “About Accordance” window now has a right click menu that will allow certain useful system information to be copied to the clipboard.
- Renamed the ‘Enter Words’ option on the TEXT dialog to ‘Insert Text’, adding a ‘Show Characters…’ option to the bottom of the list, which shows the Character Palette.
- Improved the TEXT command to be able to limit search results based on the number of words in the match, either in the source or Intertext search.
- For example, one can specify to find every match where the intertext used 3-5 words to be equivalent to 2 word phrases in your source text.
- Syntax is {TEXT #a-b=#c-d _arg_}. Where a-b is the word range (or just a) of the intertext, and c-d for the source text.
- Also, only one half can be specified by {TEXT #a-b _arg_} or {TEXT =#c-d _arg_}
- Added support to the TEXT dialog and its Construct representation.
- To get better results when specifying TEXT word counts, now variants are better handled for TEXT searches. If a result is part of a variant sequence, then the entire variant sequence is used for the matching. This enables searches like {NIV11-GKE 120} to match all three Hebrew words used in that construction.
- Improved Intertextual Searching to ignore variants, when their lexical form is the same. This causes better alignment when one of the two texts had a variant form for tagging, but the other did not.
- Intertext Analysis:
- Added support for the Smart Amplify from the Analysis to correctly build search strings using the TEXT command for MTLXX, Intertext, and Wordmap analysis results.
- Now the Set Analysis Display for keyed texts uses the same interface as the tagged Set Analysis Display, with columns and a palette, though the only options are Word, Key Number, and Intertext.
- Consolidated the MTLXX Analysis options into the Intertext dialog, for clarity.
- The dialog now supports all Word Map Texts to show Analysis for, listed separately from those that were searched.

- Improved searching for loaded module names, book cover names, and commentaries.
- Better memory management of loaded module information.
- Changed the interface for Syntax searching on all Syntax databases as follows:
- All Syntax dialog boxes and Preferences with the item label “Maximum search depth:” have been changed to “Default depth” to support the new flexibility of the depth item for Syntax searching and to express the same idea with a “positive” rather than a “negative” logic to make this option clearer to users.
- Similarly in the Preferences pane “Greek & Hebrew”, the checkbox item label “Limit depth to clause boundaries” was changed to “Allow hits within sub-clauses”, with the same type of logic reversal in the Preferences dialog display.
- The interface for handling the depth of searching in a clause (or in a phrase) in the Construct tab has been changed as follows:
- Instead of a single depth for the entire clause, the depth can be set for individual items within the clause.
- In the clause dialogs, the depth setting is now the default depth setting. Any new items added under the clause will use the current default, which can be changed after items are added.
- The individual depths are displayed as a single number above each column. This number can be changed by use of a floating popup menu which appears when the cursor is near the depth numbers along the bottom of the clause item.
- Added support for setting the individual column depths when pressing a number on a selected clause or phrase item.
- Added undo support when changing the depths of the columns either with the pull-down menu or by pressing a number on a selected clause or phrase item.
- If the search depth option to “Allow hits within sub-clauses” is off or disabled, the depth numbers will appear red rather than black.
- Saving and recalling the new option for individual depths is supported.
- When the Construct tab is set for Hebrew, the colored small type box that appears near the item label is now consistently on the right side for all items, with the name of the item right justified near the small type box.
- Greatly improved the extraction of Syntax data, which would sometime cause errors in the Instant Details and in the Amplify to Construct feature.
- Improved ETCBC syntax Instant Details to ignore subphrase elements, so the items main phrase is shown instead.
- When displaying the generic Clause item in the Construct tab from the Holmstedt Syntax database, the word ANY no longer appears with CLAUSE, even if there are other specific modifiers for the clause.

- Improved scrolling interaction by allowing diagonal scrolling (H + V at the same time), such as from a trackpad.
- Improved the display of speech for ETCBC when setting the nodes to display their codes.
- Improved the buffer space between a node and its connecting lines.
- Improved the “target area” of a node, when viewing the Instant Details of the node, to fit more closely to the size of the node. That is, the “target area” will be wider for nodes that have more details in them.

- For ETCBC Syntax, node label detail options are visible.
- Support for upcoming Timeline upgrade.
- Added ability to amplify to the Timeline by verse reference, by parsing and verse mapping to the provided string in the Time Data file.
- Added verse reference based timeline items to the Topics section of the Info Pane, even if there isn’t a topic for that name.
- Completely revamped how Timeline searching works to add more flexibility and improve the logic for amplifying to Timeline tabs if an item exists in two different datings.
- Added 5 new Timeline background colors and 1 new Timeline item color, so all possible options can have a unique color.
- Tweaked the order of regions in the Timeline.
- Added a ‘Report’ button on the Time selected item popover to open a report for the timespan of the selected items.
- Added a new feature, Modify Entire User Note/Tool:
- This opens a dialog that allows for a batch application of a variety of style changes, such as scaling all font sizes, removing styling, etc.
- It has a default shortcut of Cmd-Opt-U and appears in the Selection menu.
- Papers
- Added capability to add a new item as the parent by pressing Shift-Option-Return. (Currently, Return added a new sibling and Shift-Return added a daughter. Shift-Option return adds a parent)
- Now when a Paper is set to only show one field, if that paper is opened in a new tab, it remembers which settings it last used.
- User Tools
- Pictures are now included when importing a PDF to a User Tool.
- PDF imports consisting of only images will now add a title item with the user-selected User Tool name at the start of the tool.
- Now if there is a style change in the middle of a scripture reference, the style now expands to cover the whole reference, rather than not getting marked. This is because in some documents, the book and verse number can be in different fonts/styles/sizes for stylistic reasons, or the style can be incorrectly set wrong due to an OCR mistake.
- User Notes
- Added a “User Files” preference to auto-save User Notes when they are closed, so the user doesn’t need to specify that they want to update every time they close.
- The ability to view and edit all User Notes that appear in a single line of text:
- Previously Instant Details would only show the User Note in a line of text where there were multiple User Notes. This was the same for viewing/editing the User Note icon(s) in the pane gutter.
- Now Instant Details includes all notes that have their start in the currently selected line.
- When right clicking in the pane gutter there are now options to view/view all/edit/add new User Notes for each index originating in the line of text.
- Added “Small Caps” to the list of options in the “Display -> Style” menu. This will only be enabled in Papers, User Tools, and User Notes.
- Updated Easy Install with a new “Download All” button. This will download all modules shown by the current search that are downloadable. Items in the download list are no longer checked by default, and the normal download button is dimmed until at least one item is checked.
- Currently, when exporting (Copy or Save as Text File) Text Browser content with multiple verses shown, the verses are grouped by translation. Added a new export option to interleave the verses (grouped by verse).
- Certain Interlinear table exports will now export more cleanly.
- Copying as a citation from a Text, Tool, or Stack will now put the URL as a hyperlink on the title when pasted into an app that recognizes RTF formatting. This also applies when copying a Stack item that was added from a Tool.
- When converting Hebrew text to transliteration, the hard-space character is no longer removed, unless it is part of a whole word, such as a word with a final nun followed by a kamatz vowel point.
- Added an Export preference to make dragged-and-dropped content formatted by the citation formatting preference.
- Improved styling support for incoming content from Drag and Drop.
- Changed the export of Greek and Hebrew to unicode to be fully decomposed, rather than electing to use Extended Greek (U+1F00…) or Presentation Hebrew (U+FB20…) forms. This is due to an incompatibility with Nota Bene.
- Since Greek and Hebrew now export decomposed, improved the Unicode -> Language recognition for these ambiguous combining diacritical marks.
- Changed import and export of Hebrew caret from ^ (U+005E) to U+2038. Although it is still not a diacritic, it is smaller and lower.

- Previously, Auto Linking would allow invalid chapter numbers as long as the chapter had the same number of digits as the max chapter in the book (e.g. Gen 99 would be allowed and would point to Gen 50). This restriction has been tightened and invalid chapters will only work up to 120% of the max chapter. (e.g. Gen 60 will link to Gen 50, but Gen 61 will not be auto-linked at all)
